Job Summary:
Performs advanced, diversified, and confidential administrative and quality coordination functions, requiring high-level discretion in managing time-sensitive information. This position provides critical support to the Nursing Quality and Excellence team by overseeing the progression of strategic projects, tracking action items, and ensuring rigorous data integrity. Beyond core administrative operations, the role is responsible for advanced data analytics and reporting for nursing excellence initiatives including Magnet Designation, PTAP, as well as assistance nursing leaders with managing the development and coordination of content for the Patient Care Services newsletter, Nursing Biannual Report, DAISY Award and other special projects. Demonstrates a proactive approach to project management, certification reporting, and cross-functional coordination to ensure the continuous efficiency and success of the Department.

Job Qualifications:

  • Proficient in computer applications, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) as well as a working knowledge of various database and software programs.
  • Very strong interpersonal skills, the ability to interact and communicate effectively with key stakeholders throughout the health system (e.g. Administrative Staff, Department Heads, Medical Staff), and the general public
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to courteously interact with callers and visitors
  • Ability to manage data, meet time-sensitive deadlines, and work independently on complex projects

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree
