Job Summary:
Under general supervision, and according to well-defined policies and procedures, interviews patients and/or patients’ representatives to obtain necessary personal, demographic and financial information and identification. Performs computer data entry and other record-keeping tasks related to the patients’ registration within the registration areas. Exhibits Service Excellence Standards at all times, and incorporates into all interactions.

Job Essentials:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with professional appearance.
- Ability to function independently.
- Clerical, data entry and typing skills including filing and record keeping.
- One or more years of registration or related clerical/health care experience is preferred when accompanied with HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Some knowledge of computer systems.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment that has frequent changes in priorities.
- Flexibility and ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to complete needed tasks with speed and accuracy.
Education Requirements:
- HS Diploma or equivalent preferred. In the absence of such, a minimum of 5 years related experience required.
