Job Summary:

  • Manage enterprise infrastructure solutions with a focus on VMware ESXi/vSphere, Nutanix AHV, and Commvault Backup & Recovery.
  • Manage and support Microsoft 365 and related technologies including but not limited to: Exchange, Active Directory and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Azure AD, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
  • Monitor and maintain virtual environments, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and capacity planning.
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on server and storage infrastructure to ensure reliability and security.
  • Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies using Commvault.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects, including system migrations, application deployments, and data center improvements.
  • Support day-to-day aspects of the level 2 and 3 Support.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
  • Assist in planning and executing system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
  • 90% of the work can be performed remotely, minimum one day onsite will be required.
  • Participate on 24x7 on-call rotating schedule, and after hours work required as needed.

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.

  • 3-5 years of experience working with Microsoft technologies
  • Certification in Microsoft technology is highly desired.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Solid knowledge of Active Directory architecture, user/group policies, OU structure, and security best practices.
  • Strong understanding of Windows and/or Linux server operating systems.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and infrastructure automation/scripting (PowerShell, Manage
  • Engine Endpoint Central, ADManager, etc.) is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Position requires ability to interact with all levels of hospital staff, vendors, consultants, etc.


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field required.
