Job Summary:
Experienced Medical Billing Specialist for Multi-Specialty Physician Network. Strong knowledge of Physician Billing including ICD-10, HCPCS/CPT procedure codes and modifiers (when applicable.) Solid knowledge of working holds, denials and following-up on insurance claims.

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.

• Minimum of three or more years of Physician Billing experience required.
• Strong communication, follow up and interpersonal skills required.
• Knowledge of Anatomy/Physiology, Medical Terminology and insurance skills.
• Experience with EPIC and Athena Health Collector software desirable.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook.

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

License/Certification/Registry:

• Associate’s Degree or Certified Medical Billing Certificate preferred.
