Job Summary:
The Practice Administrator responsibilities take into consideration a comprehensive and complex mix of multiple provider support, significant FTE, revenue and operating budget management. Responsible for daily operations of multiple practice locations and/or specialties to include financial, operations and personnel management within the policies of the hospital system. Provides leadership for staff; communicates and models the mission and values of the hospital and Englewood Health Physician Network.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day operations across multiple outpatient practice locations and hospital-based services.
  • Partner directly with physician leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives and service line growth plans.
  • Manage provider and staff operations including performance management, staffing models, workflow optimization, onboarding, and employee engagement.
  • Oversee financial performance including budgets, productivity metrics, revenue cycle opportunities, cost management, and operational forecasting.
  • Monitor and improve operational KPIs including access, throughput, patient satisfaction, scheduling efficiency, encounter closure, and quality metrics.
  • Collaborate with clinical, administrative, finance, IT, marketing, and executive leadership teams to implement new programs and process improvements.
  • Support development and expansion of clinical programs, centers of excellence, and outreach initiatives.
  • Utilize reporting and analytics tools (Epic, SlicerDicer, dashboards, Excel) to monitor performance and drive decision-making.
  • Coordinate operational readiness for new services, locations, and procedural offerings including workflows, staffing, equipment, Epic builds, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support academic and research initiatives including physician projects, fellowship coordination, grants, and educational programming.
  • Lead physician practice operations while ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
  • Travel between practice sites as needed.
  • Participation in Journal Dinners, Physician recruitment and after work events.



Education Requirements/Job Essentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive healthcare operations or physician practice leadership experience.
  • Experience managing multi-site and/or multi-specialty physician practices preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen including budgeting, operational analytics, and performance improvement.
  • Experience leading complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of physician practice operations, ambulatory workflows, healthcare reimbursement, and revenue cycle.
  • Advanced communication, relationship management, and executive presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare analytics/reporting tools.

Salaries for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum salary does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum salary, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.
Minimum compensation: $70,000 annually
