Job Summary:

Orthopedic Practice in Englewood NJ is seeking an Experienced Licensed Physician Assistant for Office Hours and Operating Room 1st Surgical Assistant at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center Operating Room to provide orthopedic health care, including diagnostic and therapeutic services.

Job Essentials:

  • Surgical Orthopedic experience is a plus as 1st Assistant with extensive knowledge of orthopedic surgical equipment and instrumentation
  • EMR history and examination, prescribing medications and follow up patient treatment
  • Performing aspirations and injections. Fracture care with application and removal of cast, splints and other immobilization devices and equipment. Operating Room 1st Surgical Assistant
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform advanced technical tasks/Operating Room assistant
  • EMR experience
  • Orthopedic experience a plus
  • Spanish a plus
  • Individuals must have a strong work ethic along with a caring personality
  • Individuals must be compliant with Englewood Hospital immunization policy
  • Commitment to providing state of the art, compassionate care in a humanistic environment


Education Requirements:

  • Masters in Physician Assistant Studies

 

License/Certification/Registry:

  • Current NJ license as PA

  • Current NJ CDS and DEA registrations

  • Current ACLS and BLS

 

Englewood Health provides a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law.  The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.
Minimum rate: $160,000.00
