Job Summary:
This practice cares for a high volume of patients in the community and is part of the Englewood Health Physician Network (EHPN). Under the direction of the Practice Administrator and/or EHPN Director, this position supports EHPN practice site operations by maintaining office systems and supervising staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a timely patient flow; preparing payroll; managing correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring administrative functions; and supervising staff. In addition, they will achieve financial objectives by participating in annual budget preparation; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; and initiating corrective actions.

Job Essentials:
- Three (3) years of administrative experience, including one (1) year of medical office experience.
- Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, and systems.
- Knowledge of computer systems and applications.
- Knowledge of medical practices and terminology.
- Knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure to answer correspondence and prepare reports.
- Skill in planning, organizing, delegating, and supervising.
- Skill in evaluating the effectiveness of existing methods and procedures.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply policies and procedures.
- Skill in operating a variety of office equipment.
- Ability to deal with patients, medical and administrative staff, and the public effectively.
Education:
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Courses in health care office management preferred.
