Englewood Health, a nationally recognized, top‑ranked hospital in Northern New Jersey is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to support the Department of Gynecologic Oncology. About the Opportunity

• This is a per diem role with 1-4 work days expected per month.
• Department makeup: (1) full-time physician, (1) part-time physician & (1) full-time nurse practitioner.
• The APN/PA will provide comprehensive care to gynecology patients across all phases of care, including evaluations, follow‑up visits, pre‑ and post‑operative management, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. The Department of Gynecologic Oncology currently performs a wide range of cases each year and is experiencing steady growth.
• The ideal candidate will excel in communication, interpersonal skills, precise documentation, and clinical expertise in managing all phases of care for urology patients.
• The midlevel provider will plan, direct, and coordinate key operations of the department and will work hand‑in‑hand with Physicians, Midlevel Providers, Medical Assistants, and Scheduling Coordinators to support optimal patient outcomes. 

What your day will look like

• Conduct patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations.
• Manage pre‑and post‑operative gynecologic oncology patients.
• Perform follow‑up visits and assist with individualized care plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Provide patient education and support.
• Document clinical findings accurately and efficiently in the EMR (Epic).
• Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical support teams.
• Participate in daily rounds and care coordination.
• Support departmental operations and workflow management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of gynecology or surgical experience preferred
• Current CDS and DEA licenses
• Current BLS and ACLS certification

• Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• National Board certification is required
• Current NJ Professional Nurse License
• Current NJ Nurse Practitioner License

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current NJ Physician Assistant License
• Current National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Certification

Englewood Health offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, comprehensive benefits package, and other incentive programs for our employees. The rate shown reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position; actual pay will depend on several factors, including educational background, skills, and professional experience.

Minimum rate: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour
