Job Summary:
Englewood Health seeks an experienced manager responsible for nursing excellence initiatives, building effective strategies for compliance and professional excellence through ongoing nursing excellence standards including but not limited to ANCC Magnet under the direction of the Director of Nursing Quality, Research Services. Serving as an organizational leader, the ideal candidate assumes organization wide responsibility for coordinating all aspects of the ANCC Magnet application, designation, and maintenance process. Will serve as a guide, a coach, a mentor, and role model to facilitate and shape new policies and ensures compliance with all nursing excellence program requirements. As a member of the nursing leadership team, the role requires a high level of initiative, critical thinking, creativity and ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams. Maintains training competence for operations initiatives and serves as a representative in committee, councils and teams promoting interdisciplinary efforts.

Job Essentials:

• A minimum of three (3) years in an acute care nursing leadership or education experience required
• Must be a graduate of NLN accredited nursing program
• Excellent skills in the following areas: verbal and written communications; interpersonal relationships, team building, and conflict resolution
• Change & project management skills
• Proficiency in supporting professional nursing practice 
• Knowledge of the Magnet Accreditation Process required
• Sound knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint; ability to use secondary databases; knowledge of statistical analysis.
• Participation in pertinent professional organizations
• Evidence-based practice and research and innovation experience
• Sensitivity for and understanding of clinical disciplines and issues
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals

Education Requirements:

• BSN required; Masters in nursing preferred

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

• Current New Jersey Nursing License required
• Specialty certification within 1 year of eligibility
• CPR Certification preferred

Englewood Health provides a minimum salary to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum salary does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum salary, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.

Salary range: $115k-$140k
