Job Summary:
The IT Security Engineer is responsible for the protection of computer assets and information by establishing and enforcing system access controls. The IT Security Engineer also supports Epic and applicable Security Applications.

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.
- A minimum of 5-7 years’ working experience with a clinical system
- A minimum of 1 -2 years’ experience working with Security Operation Centre and security incident investigation.
- Any Cybersecurity certification is prefearble.
- Excellent customer support skills
- Able to remain flexible and adaptable with respect to changing end-user needs
- Able to demonstrate critical thinking through the willingness to see things in an open-minded way and examine an idea or concept from as many angles as possible
- Able to remain dependable through the willingness to take ownership of work activities and ensure that they are completed in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner
Technical Requirements:
- Working knowledge of Web, Email, Cloud security, EDR solution and remediation.
- Knowledge of Security awareness platform, Phishing campaign and training and security content selection for User's training and awareness. Knowledge of email threat remediation is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Vulnerability, Pentest result or breach assessment analysis and remediation tracking.
- Knowledge on how to Drive Security alert tracking and remediation and detain Investigation.
- Collaborate with Internal Stakeholder to address all security incidents. Proactively perform threat hunting and propose a remedial solution.
- Thoughly review threat alert and drive for remediation.
- Stay uptodate with latest security trends. technologies and threat intelligence.
- Update and review existing runbooks. Identify if additional documentation of policies are needed and contribute as applicable.
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related degree or equivalent experience.
