Job Summary:
The IT Application Specialist supports end-users with optimal solutions for multiple clinical and/or business applications. The Application Specialist works closely with analysts, system users, and operational leaders to ensure successful rollout of features and usage of applications.

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.

  • 2 years operational experience with EHR system(s) – Clinical and/or Business preferred.
  • Remain flexible and adaptable with respect to changing end-user needs.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Ensure work deliverables are completed in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
  • Take initiative and be willing to learn new content and technology.
  • Communicate information clearly and concisely with project leadership and subject matter experts.
  • Demonstrate resilience through difficult situations, reaching high levels of performance when faced with stressful work situations and time pressures.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Some travel required to clinical practice sites in NJ (reimbursement provided as per EH policy)


Education Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
Englewood Health provides a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law.  The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.
