Job Summary:
The LMS/Medical Librarian Coordinator serves in a dual-role capacity, providing leadership and oversight for both Englewood Health’s Dr. Walter Phillips Health Sciences Library and the organization’s Learning Management System (LMS). This position is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating library operations; delivering reference and research services; and maintaining the Health Sciences Library’s online presence. In addition, the incumbent administers and supports the LMS by managing educational content, coordinating annual competency programs, collaborating with nursing leadership and clinical educators, generating compliance and completion reports, and ensuring timely resolution of system issues in partnership with Information Technology. The role supports organizational learning, professional development, and access to evidence-based healthcare information across the health system.

Job Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of experience in a medical or health sciences library setting, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
- Demonstrated experience conducting medical literature searches and database retrieval using healthcare and research resources
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to effectively utilize standard office technology and equipment
- Familiarity with adult learning principles, instructional design, and educational methodologies preferred
- Ability to quickly learn, navigate, and administer learning management systems (LMS) and other educational technology platforms
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic healthcare environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clinicians, educators, leaders, staff, and other diverse stakeholder groups
- Customer service-oriented with a commitment to supporting lifelong learning, professional development, and access to evidence-based health information
Education Requirements:
- Master of Library Science (MLS/MLIS) degree from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited program required
