Job Summary:
To perform administrative duties and other related functions in the Security Department. Perform coordination and be the representative in communicating whenever contact is made. Is responsible in assisting in the answering of incoming inquires and routing them to the appropriate contact as needed. Provide support to the Security Supervisors and Security Manager in their day-to-day responsibilities. Ensures that the identification badging system and printers are operating properly, as well as, any other systems in place for the process and issuances of identification badges. Responsible for the safekeeping of all identification badge supplies and maintaining appropriate supplies for the identification badge process. Maintain a good staff working relationship with all departments ensuring that support and assistance are always available.

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.

  • Able to work as a team and as an individual.
  • Strong verbal, written, and problem solving skills as required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to maintain files and required electronic filings.
  • Knowledge of hospital campus, including all departments and areas.
  • Working knowledge with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, LawSoft RMS, C-Cure 900 Security Systems preferred.

 


Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; higher level of education preferred.

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
