Job Summary:
The Office Coordinator is responsible for verifying insurance benefits for all patients for procedures. Assists in obtaining authorizations for specific exams. Ability to generate referrals to other providers. Assists in scheduling tests and procedures when necessary. Assists Office Manager as needed.

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions in order to review Athena and/or EPIC insurance verification responses and other pertinent documents.
- Interpersonal skills in order to interact effectively with patients, families, physicians, insurance companies, and public assistance agencies.
- Ability to function independently.
- Computer skills are necessary.
- Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- The office manager will maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures; preparing payroll; maintains a timely flow of patients; schedule, coaches, monitors and disciplines staff; reviews and approves supply requisitions.
- The office manager provides leadership and models excellence.
- Requires Fluency in English and Spanish , written and spoken.
- Minimum of three years' experience in medical office management.
- Knowledge of insurance plans (Medicare, Medicaid and commercial plans) and revenue cycle management.
- Knowledge of quality measures and population health reporting.
- Knowledge of computer systems and experience with electronic medical records.
- Proven skill in planning, organizing, delegating and supervising.
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients, medical and administrative staff, and the public.
- Education Requirements:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent required.
Englewood Health provides a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.
