Job Summary:
Englewood Health is looking to hire a Cashier who will be responsible for receiving and disbursing cash at the Cashiers Window, posting payments to accounts receivable and preparing daily bank deposit. Other job duties include preparing daily batch logs and journal voucher (JV) for data entry, reconciling cash at the close of the day, researching bankruptcy notices and logging them into the financial system, updating accounts with new insurance information and/or address changes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one (1) year cashier experience and demonstrate proficiency in typing and computer usage.

Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm 

 

Job Essentials:

  • Minimum of 1 year cashier experience
  • Must be proficient in use of calculator and typewriter.
  • Typing and PC skills required.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to interact positively with all levels of Englewood Health staff.


Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

Englewood Health provides a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law.  The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.
