Job Summary:
As part of the Englewood Health Physician Network (EHPN), our award winning Cardiac Surgery practice cares for a high-volume of patients in the communities we serve. The Cardiac Surgery Office Manager supports practice site administrative operations by maintaining office systems and supervising staff. The ideal candidate is responsible for maintaining an efficient flow of patients; payroll administration; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring administrative functions and managing staff performance. In addition, they will achieve financial objectives by participating in annual budget preparation; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; and initiating corrective actions. Demonstrated ability to evaluate the effectiveness of existing processes and recommend improvements. Must demonstrate a high-level of professionalism and team leadership to engage with providers, patients and team members throughout the organization.

Job Essentials:

  • Three (3) years of administrative experience including one (1) year of medical office experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures and systems.
  • Proficient knowledge of computer systems and applications.
  • Knowledge of medical practice operations and medical terminology.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time and delegate effectively.
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply policies and procedures.
  • Ability to engage with patients, medical and administrative staff, and the public effectively.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
